Our portfolio company, GFA Technologies, has received recognition from the Atlantic Council and the United States Department of State. They are now part of the esteemed Artificial Intelligence Connect II Programme.
This strategic initiative focuses on promoting the ethical deployment of AI technologies, aligning with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) AI Principles. Its goal is to empower low- and middle-income countries to actively engage in global AI policy dialogues.
Adebola Omololu, the Chief Executive Officer at GFA Technologies, expressed excitement about their selection. Over the past few years, their engineering team has developed pioneering algorithms for African startups and SMEs, leveraging both large and small language models. One of their solutions, FundraiserCRM, addresses the challenge of access to finance by connecting startups with global investors using these models.
Furthermore, GFA Technologies is in discussions with South Africa’s Department of Communications and Digital Technologies regarding the deployment of AI strategies.
